Tips to Know Before You go to Croatia!

- Cards are accepted in a lot of places but carry cash with you as well, some places are cash only
- ATMs associated with banks typically have lower fees than stand alone ATMs
- Many businesses are close on Sundays
- Best to stay as close to the downtown as you can
- Cars can not drive in Old town
- lots of traffic near Old town near the main gates, can be beneficial if you’re catching a taxi to walk a few minutes outside of it
- Beaches are rocky
- Stradun St is a tourist trap, dont get food here
- Beach Bar Dodo nice spot for food/drinks on the beach
- For nicer restaurants its best to make reservations a week in advance
- If you go into a casual restaurant and don’t see a host stand you can seat yourself
